2. Website provision and security

Visiting the website transmits technical data, such as your IP address, time of access, requested address and browser details, to the infrastructure used to deliver pages, resolve errors and prevent abuse.

The website is delivered through OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare. Technical access data may be processed in the United States and other countries. Processing exclusively in Switzerland is not guaranteed.

HTTPS encrypts the connection. Technical safeguards reduce risks but cannot guarantee absolute transmission security.

3. Password protection and cookies

The public website does not require a password. In the separate protected preview, after successful password entry, the necessary “sci_preview” cookie confirms access for seven days. It contains a signed confirmation, not a password, and can be deleted in your browser settings.

For preview access, to prevent repeated login attempts, we store IP-derived verification values and attempt counters for 30 minutes. Expired records are removed during subsequent login attempts.

Your cookie-banner choice (Accept or Reject) is stored locally in your browser for 180 days. You can change it at any time under “Cookie settings”. The website contains no analytics or advertising trackers. Fonts and logos are served by the website itself.

4. Contacting us

When you contact us by email or telephone, we process your contact details and enquiry to respond and address your request. Business relationships or statutory retention obligations may require longer storage.

5. Booking appointments and external websites

“Book a meeting” links to Calendly; social media and client logos link to external websites. The location video, public PDFs and vCard are delivered through our website. Only clicking a link takes you to the respective service, whose operator processes any resulting data under its own privacy terms.

Calendly, social media, maps and external video players are not embedded. Information provided on external websites is governed by their respective notices.

6. Retention and your rights

Personal data should be processed only for as long as required by its purpose or retention obligations. Cookie lifetimes do not determine the retention periods of providers’ technical logs.

Under applicable data protection law, you may in particular request access and correction and, subject to the relevant conditions, deletion, data delivery or restriction of processing. Consent may be withdrawn for the future. Requests may require proof of identity.

The Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) provides information about your rights and the competent Swiss supervisory authority.

7. Providers and changes

Further information about provider data processing is available from OpenAI and Cloudflare. Domain administration and email services remain with Hoststar. We update this notice when the website or services used change.
